I met Kristin through my sweet friends at Margaret Claire's Wedding & Events. When we decided to meet in person, we hooked up at Starbucks (who doesn't love coffee). Once we started talking, I knew right away that we were a perfect fit! Kristin is outgoing, beautiful and smart. Cameron is a little on the quiet side, but hard working and clearly loves her!!
These two are getting married this year at Meadhaven in Louisville, Tennesee which is happy and sad at the same time as this may be the last wedding at this gorgeous venue!! I love shooting at Meadhaven because of it's vast property and beautiful scenery. Its on the lake and when the sun sets there, it's absolutely gorgeous!
When we discussed Engagement shoot options, she immediately wanted to shoot at Max Patch Mountain. We had the date planned and wouldn't you know it, it snowed ALOT right before that date so we decided it was too dangerous to make the trip, so our next date came around quickly and it had been warm in days prior - day of, it was bitter cold, still snow up on that mountain but what troopers they were. We were the only ones on top of Max Patch this day and it was overcast and it made for beautiful photographs!
If you can't tell already, Kristin used to Model quite a bit so she was no stranger to the camera. This is why I offer engagement sessions with all my packages - I can get to know my couples and they get to know me and get comfortable. No doubt their wedding will be beautiful.
Luckily, we got these gorgeous photos before the pandemic started and so I am super grateful to share them with you. Be sure to look for their exclusive publication in The Northwoods Wedding later this summer. These two were made for each other and I can not wait to celebrate their wedding with them this year. It will be amazing!
