Dr. & Mrs. Philip Stanley

October 17th turned out to be the most gorgeous day for a wedding on the Tennessee River in West Knoxville.  Phil and Stephanie decided to get married in their own neighborhood where they just bought a house for their new families.  Their wedding was held at the Montgomery Cove clubhouse right on the dock looking out over the river.  A little background story - Stephanie and I have been friends for many years, we worked together as well.  So when she asked me to photograph her wedding, I was overjoyed!!  Stephanie has two children, Julie and Bogel.  Julia was her Maid of Honor and Bogel walked her down the aisle!  Phil has 3 daughters and 2 sons!!!  Now they are one, big happy family!!!  I absolutely love the way this wedding came together!! Her dress was gorgeous, as was Julia's, both came from David's Bridal and the boys were in Tuxedo's from Savvi Formalwear!  Holly's Eventful Catering catered the event with some delicious caramelized bacon, chicken on a stick and others.  Her flowers were done by Always In Bloom, Rita's Bakery did the Yankee's Cake (although I won't hold that against him, since I am a RED's fan) LOL.  Buttermilk Sky did the pies and Publix made the beautiful cake!! Phil's daughter Jessica Carroll did her makeup - she works for Ulta Cosmetic's in Jacksonville, Florida.

I have to mention what a wonderful Jazz Quartet they had - they were Saxophone Jack and they were AMAZING! I have to say that I've never seen anyone so happy!  They smiled and cuddled the entire day!  They were so easy to photograph, I just followed them around!  Stephanie explained her relationship with Phil perfectly when she said " I met Phil at a Smokies game, through friends and I've never looked back.  He's my best friend and I can't imagine anyone more perfect for me."  Enjoy these photos!!

This is one of my favorite photos!!!!  LOVE the way she is holding her dress!!!  Hey, if you got 'em..........LOL

As I took the photo below, Stephanie had to take a moment to remember her grandmother.  Her dad wasn't able to make the wedding as he was recovering from heart surgery. So we just relaxed and remembered.
